Mid-month, we paused the music and leaned into the mood of the nation.In honour of Democracy Day, we published a piece titled “Nigeria’s Democracy: A Journey Still in Progress.” It wasn’t a lecture. It wasn’t even a conclusion. Just a prompt—an open-ended reflection on where we are, where we’ve been, and what freedom really looks like today.
